Rehabilitation of the intellectually differently able children/people is a big challenge for many especially when they are orphans and hyper in nature. Ashagram is an answer to it. It was an attempt to rehabilitate them and today we find it suits them and they improve and move freely in the centre. It is also a training centre for many more such people even having their relations. We do not look at them as children and they are all given their basic requirements. They live a standard life with all basic facilities and freedom.

Each one has his/her own duty and engagement and this keeps him/her busy and happy. The freedom they enjoy in the centre is unique. As it is very spacious there is enough places for them to play, work, recreation, activities. The varieties of fruits garden, plants, flowers along with birds and animals is an attraction for them.

It is our aim to make them happy and train them to live healthy. The atmosphere and surroundings suit to it and the staff support to its achievement. We try to train them according to their talents and engage them in different activities. The arrival of girls to the centre is an attraction and we believe that their presence also is supporting to the totality of the home. It is not a centre but a home where all live in harmony. The needs of the inmates are the priority of all the activities done here. It is a paradise for them.

They can live rest of their life in a beautiful home for them. There is sufficient open land, ground and farm to help them. The orchard will attract them. We teach them stand on their own leg doing all their personal works individually and also providing them separate facility in the dormitory to make them feel proud. Though it is little far from the city it is a paradise for them. We also admit children having parents/ relations to our Vocational Training Centre.
